The DDM motor connect with the clutch directly instead of by capacitor drive and belt connection. When in washing mode,the motor's speed is slowed by the cluth and the drive the pulsator to run. When in spinning mode, the motor will directly drive the pulsator, cloth and the inner tub to work.
The direct drive motor system is composed by the controler,actuator,DDM motor,etc.Compare with the present capacitor drive motor system, the direct drive motor system have following advantages:
1.High Efficiency of the System: Eilminate the belt drive process. The excitation magnetic field is provided by the magnetic ferrite and the motor efficiency can surpass 70%. And the efficiency and the voltage coordinated speed control efficiency also higher than the capacitor drive motor speed control efficiency.The DDM motor efficiency is higher in any speed status;
2.Steady Speed: By speed closed-loop operation,the motor speed will not affected by gride voltage or load,and can keep the speed which is setted by the controler.
3.Wide Speed Range: The motor speed can be adjusted in a very wide range with the help of actuator. When washing the silk or wool clothes, the motor can keep in low speed to prevent the damage to the clothes. When in spinning mode, the speed can reach to more than 1000 RPM to make the clothes drier.
4.Imporve the Washing Quality and Reduce the Clothing Damage: Different speed can be set for different clothes. In the meantime, the process of increasing and reducing speed is also strictly controled to avoid the damage of the clothes.
